Leatherman Tread

Leatherman U.S.A has recently unveiled a new product set to revolutionise the multi-tool industry. The Leatherman Tread takes the functionality and conveniance of a standard Leatherman tool and puts it in a wearable, travel-friendly wrist bracelet, ensuring you'll always have it handy when you need it.

The Tread bracelet is crafted of hardened 17-4 stainless steel links. These highly detailed links are made with injection molding, the same process used to create the bit drivers for Leatherman's standard multi-purpose tools. Two different styles will be available - one with a polished stainless steel finish and the other in black.

Tread Bracelets

The Leatherman Tread is adjustable to 1/4” to accommodate any wrist size, and each unique link has several tools– even the clasp has a 1/4” socket driver and a bottle opener. Need a different tool? The bracelet links are customisable, so you can simply use a coin or other small object in the slotted fasteners to swap out links for what you need most.

The Tread will also be available in a wrist watch model - the QM1. The unique timepiece is Leatherman designed and Swiss-made with precision quartz movement. A shock resistant double domed sapphire crystal with anti-glare coating ensures scratch resistance for heavy duty wear. The watch face is curved for less reflection, allowing you to see the date and time from any angle, and an anti-glare coating increases outdoor visibility.

The Leatherman Tread QM1 watch also includes a rotating bezel ring, illuminated pigments for low visibility situations, and is water resistant to 200 meters.

The Leatherman Tread wrist bracelet will be available in May 2015, and the Tread QM1 wristwatch in September 2015.
