Klaxon sounder beacons combine a high-output electronic sounder with a bright LED or xenon beacon in one weatherproof housing. A single cable run, a single mounting point, and you have simultaneous audio-visual alerting — ideal for noisy factory floors, outdoor installations, machinery alarms, fire systems, and process control applications where personnel need an unmistakable alert signal.

Klaxon Nexus Series — High Output Sounder Beacons The Nexus is Klaxon's latest generation flagship, designed for demanding industrial and fire applications. Available in three output levels to suit your environment:

  • Nexus 105 — up to 113dB, ideal for moderate-noise manufacturing environments
  • Nexus 110 — up to 116dB, suited to loud industrial, conveyor, and process plant applications
  • Nexus 120 — up to 120dB, for the highest-noise environments including large open factories, outdoor areas, and wide-area alarm systems

All Nexus units feature Klaxon's First-Fix wire-to-base technology, meaning wiring is completed in the base during the initial installation phase — the sounder head then simply twists and clicks into place on commissioning. This significantly reduces installation time and eliminates the common wiring problems of traditional sounders. IP66 rated as standard, with 64 selectable tones, three alarm stages, and a 20dB volume adjustment range.

Klaxon Sonos Sounder Beacon The Sonos is a proven general-purpose sounder beacon certified to EN54 for fire applications, and equally at home in security and industrial signalling roles. Available in LED and xenon beacon variants, with up to 106dB output and IP65 weatherproof rating. The Sonos uses the same TimeSaver first-fix base system as the Nexus, making it a popular choice for both new installations and replacement of older units.

Klaxon Voice Sounder The Nexus Voice Sounder adds pre-recorded and customisable voice messages to the standard tone library — particularly useful in applications requiring specific evacuation instructions, directional guidance, or multi-language alerts. Up to 116dB output with 64 tones plus voice message capability.
